Terms of Use
Effective October 7, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Juder AI LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company (“Juder.ai”, “we”, “us”). They cover the juder.ai website, the Juder mobile app, the Juder desktop app for Mac and Windows, and Juder memberships (together, “Juder”). By creating an account or using Juder, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Juder.
1. Who can use Juder
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires it to use online services without a parent’s consent. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and to any purchase. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
2. What Juder offers
Juder teaches practical AI skills through lessons, AI-assisted practice, and graded exercises. During early access, all published lessons and chapter final challenges are free, and daily AI practice limits apply. We may offer paid memberships later (we plan to when Chapter 3 launches); if we do, we’ll give you notice before charging anything, and nothing is charged without your purchase. We may add, change, or remove lessons and features over time.
3. Memberships, billing, and cancellation
This section applies to paid memberships, including memberships bought before early access and any we offer later.
- Price and renewal. Memberships are billed monthly or yearly at the price shown at checkout, plus any applicable tax. They renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Where you pay. On the web, payments are processed by Stripe through RevenueCat. In the iPhone app, payments are processed by Apple under the App Store’s terms. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Cancelling. You can cancel anytime. For a web membership, use “Manage billing” on the Membership page. For an App Store membership, use your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise here. If something went wrong, email support@juder.ai and we’ll look at it fairly. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple.
- Price changes. If we change a membership price, we’ll tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
- Deleting your account doesn’t cancel billing. Cancel your membership first.
4. AI features
Juder sends your practice prompts and answers to an AI provider to generate responses and grade your work. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent, and grades are automated judgments meant to help you learn. Always check important results yourself. Don’t submit other people’s personal information, passwords, or sensitive data in practice exercises. Daily limits apply to AI requests.
5. Milestones and credentials
Milestones and chapter credentials show that you completed Juder exercises. They are not academic degrees, professional licenses, or accredited certifications.
6. Your content
You own what you write in Juder, such as prompts, answers, and your profile. You give us permission to store, process, and display it as needed to run Juder, including showing your profile and shared milestones to friends you connect with. You are responsible for having the right to anything you upload, including your profile photo.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Juder. That includes: breaking the law; harassing, threatening or impersonating others; using a name, photo or bio that is hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise offensive; uploading unlawful or infringing content; trying to get around usage limits, paywalls, or security; scraping or reselling Juder content; or using Juder’s AI features to create harmful material. You can report a profile or block someone from their profile. We review reports and may ask you to change something, remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we think someone may be in danger, or the law requires it, we may share information with the authorities.
8. Our content
Juder’s lessons, exercises, rubrics, design, and branding belong to us. You may use them for your own learning. Don’t copy, redistribute, or build a competing product from them.
9. The Juder apps
If you use the iPhone app, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for Juder or its content.
The Juder desktop app can read and change files on your computer, but only inside the one working folder you choose, and only after you confirm each change in the app. Before it changes or moves a file, it saves a backup copy, and you can undo changes from the Activity page. The app doesn’t delete files; anything a change removes is kept in its backup. Backups and undo reduce risk but can’t cover everything (for example, if the backup itself is removed or your disk fails), so keep your own backups of anything important, choose a working folder you’re comfortable letting Juder change, and review each change before you confirm it. Files you send in a lesson go to our AI provider as described in section 4 and our Privacy Policy. Early (pilot) versions of the desktop app may have bugs; they’re offered to invited testers only.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account anytime from your Profile page. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Juder; if we stop offering paid memberships, we’ll refund any unused prepaid period for web memberships.
11. Disclaimers
Juder is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties that Juder will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content or AI output will be accurate or fit a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim about Juder is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, unless the consumer laws of your country give you the right to bring a claim where you live.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know by email or in Juder before it takes effect. Continuing to use Juder after that means you accept the updated terms.
